Picea pungens - Koster

Conifer- evergreen conifer this is a medium sized tree which grows 3-8 meters in height. It is a frost hardy, slow growing tree.

The spruce will tolerate any soil other than the very chalky soil or soil which is overly moist/ wet. They are a tough plant suitable for problem areas.

It has evergreen foliage for all year round colour and screening.

Suitable for container growing and is an ideal stand out plant. It tolerates heavy clay soils, however doesn't like very dry or very wet soils. This tree does not produce showy attractive flowers.
