Macadamia

The Macadamia is a genus of 9 species 7 of these being native to Australia.
They are an evergreen with lance shaped leaves 6-30 cm long and 2-13 cm wide.
The flowers are grown on a long slender stalk 5-30 cm long,which flowers having there own stalk
and the auctual flower being 20-15 mm long and are white to pink or purple in colour.
The Macadamia produces Macadamia nuts which mature in a woody globe shaped shell.
