“There was a wedding in the grounds – a stunning location for such an event – lots of photo opportunities with lovely rose arbors and cute bridges over water features.”
"Take a book or picnic and drink ( or visit nearby winery cafes beforehand in Appleby). We visited here after a long couple days sightseeing and spent a couple of hours relaxing on the grass under the tree canopy looking out over the pond and even dozed off for a while.”
